This individual will possess the drive, determination and talent to lead the sales efforts of a rapidly growing manufacturer that is well recognized as an innovator in its category. The position reports directly to the company president and is a member of the Leadership team. The successful candidate will possess 10 years of sales and management experience, a proven record of growth in the consumer electronics custom installation and retailing environments, strong business acumen, and international experience. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for strategic sales planning, budgeting, USA Representatives, International Sales Management and Distribution, Education and Training. The qualified individual will possess a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration college degree, with a preference for Finance or Business, and formal training in selling skills and negotiations. A Masters in Business Administration is a plus. The candidate also should excel in public speaking and personal presentation, and place a high value on ethics and integrity. The ideal candidate must have previous sales support, customer service experience and be able to work from 9:00AM-6:00PM. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Managing and preparing all sales reports. Preparing and editing Power Point Presentations to support Sales, Marketing, and other departments. Supporting Manager of Administration to ensure that all needs are met for our internal and outside sales representatives. Processing all incoming invoices. Answering and routing incoming calls, providing customer service, placing and tracking orders. Drafting and proofreading correspondence for self and others. Organizing travel, meetings, conferences, and other events. Processing and assuming responsibility of new sales applications and maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets. Other tasks as assigned.
